We all agreed that we were extremely glad that we are Tuesday Nighters. The atmosphere, friendliness and enjoyment of each evening is first class. Everyone seems to get on very well and there are no contentious issues. We just like to play our ukes.
We did discuss the siting of the screen, because it had been suggested that facing the other way may be an advantage, if people need to get to the bar or loos whilst we are performing. The comment was appreciated, but the decision was to keep things as they are, because the alternative would affect the sight of members sitting in the alcove. Provided we keep the screen as near to the window as possible, things should work OK. This will continue to be reviewed.
Financially, we raised £900 from member’s subscriptions and a further £95 from the ukulele raffle.
We have spent £685 on equipment. (details and receipts are available for anyone interested).
So there is a balance of £310 in the kitty for future purchases, as, when and if necessary.
The sandwiches are paying for themselves currently, so I will continue getting them as long as members want them.
The odd £1 or 2 of profit on the sandwiches is being held separately to cover any possible shortfall.
Comments are that the website is excellent and we thank David Brindley for his efforts in that respect, much appreciated.

Currently we have 45 members, as per constitution, with 3 people on the waiting list. Whilst we see some of our members very occasionally, it not proposed to make any changes currently.
Thoughts are to make occasional compilation DVDs of STARTIME for distribution to members.
Any thoughts or comments are always appreciated, but presently we see no reason to change a winning formula. Thanks to all for their individual contribution to a successful venture.
